The Department of English conducts a major literary event called LITTFEST every year. It is an eclectic mix of educational and fun filled activities based on language and literature. This event invites participation of students from all faculties. The department also organises Guest Lectures and conducts workshops and seminars.

This year it was no different. Litt fest 2011 was inaugurated amidst excited minds on January 19, by Prof Irfan Shaikh, Joint Secretary , M.C.E Society, who applauded the efforts of the Department of English for organizing this unique festival, for today’s world where the importance of English is only growing.
